| Description | Baltasar Serradell was a doctor by profession, but naturalist and collector by vocation. His collections were transferred to the Museu Martorell after his death by the Board of Natural Sciences who had acquired them from his widow in 1931 in exchange for a life pension. Serradell's petrological collection contains 1,330 registers, most of which are of sedimentary and igneous rocks from Catalonia and, above all, from the province of Barcelona. |
